The Beast from Below the Beyond

It bleeds up from a brackish bog,
bearlike and bat-faced,
breath of a basilisk.
It bumbles into a basilica,
battling, brawling, breaking bones,
burning, brutalizing human beings.

Until a brilliant boondocks boy
breaks into a brothel’s basement,
and among the bodices and bikinis,
he burgles some bagpipes
which boisterously bewilder
the beady-eyed brute,

banishing it back
to Below the Beyond!

For today’s prompt, write a B-movie poem.
