Fraiku: After Two Months

Unpacking flows like old glue
Reshelving turns to rereading
old friends

(We’re just three fraikus from the election,

so here’s a political one I wrote two years ago,

Fraiku: Republicans.)

I like both of these fraikus. They express more than the few words they contain.

I loved that fraiku then, and I love it now! And it hasn’t changed, unfortunately. The times in which we live.

You take a book from the box – you think…’I’ll just have a quick look’.  Hours later, your stomach tells you to eat!

Ain’t that the truth. I revisit my old friends when I pack up to move but it’s the same feeling of “Ah I forgot I had this!”

    Republican one – still excellent,

  9. “Unpacking flows like old glue”! What a great metaphor. I only went on a ten day trip and my suitcase has not been unpacked yet. Yep, old glue. :)
