Fraiku: Gridlock

When corporations
profit more off the problem
than the solution

(On a more hopeful note: there’s an interesting call for submissions up at Whispers & Echoes. I encourage all my poetic friends to check it out.)

I wrote my love letters to my congressman. I am now considering what sign I can wear to work next week that mentions wanting to be valued more than assault rifles.

Wow. Guest editor! I’m impressed. So does this mean that if I want to submit I have to write something new or dust off an old one you haven’t read? :)

You’ve done it again. Spot on. Few words – much meaning.

Have you ever come across the novel ‘Gridlock’ by Ben Elton? About petrol rather than guns – but, as with ‘How to Create a Killer’ – has varied applications.

Do you know, I’ve only just realised that they are called Fraiku because they are posted on a Friday – maybe because I see them on a Saturday, here in Orkney. Or maybe because I can be a bit obtuse at times. I did wonder…..

    Keep on Fraiking.
