Glitzie blips and blinkie chitz
tease me ā play just one more game
but I slink back to Skeeball
(Found this game at an arcade and, aw jeez, it nearly got me. I won’t admit to how much money I spent but at least I won a lot of tickets for chintzy prizes.)

Fun poem and share! I am a Skeeball fan too, and arcade basketball. š

Yes, good times!
Bart, regarding your poetry collection, I plan on spotlighting your book early next year. Strange to write that but it is November. I will keep you updated. I am looking forward to it!

Which eye do I use … the good one or the bad one?

The bad one should be sufficient. I’m not that sneaky.

I have no idea what any of this refers to! I remember the first ‘Space Invaders’ machine in the Student Union bar causing a sensation, with folk queuing up to play. The other favourite was good old pin-ball – which doesn’t need electronics.
I am old and grouchy and dislike glitz., bright lights and loud noises!

This game is very much a 21st century mashup of Space Invaders and pinball. Kind of an overly complicated slot machine though there is some skill involved.

Delightful poem, Bart! I have never played video games. It sounds like an expensive addiction! <3

It can be very expensive if you lose control. It’s a lot like gambling in that you never earn enough in prizes to cover the cost of the playing.

When your “Glitzie blips and blinkie chitz” merch becomes available, I will be getting a t-shirt. Love this, Bartholomew!

The good folks merchandise for Rick & Morty already have it covered.
BTW, if you click on the pic and expand to full resolution you’ll notice a “Blips & Chitz” hat on one of the stools. That’s mine.
