Perfect, practical, and ‘preciated. Love the poem too, Bartholomew. Do you ever go by Bart?

Thank you, Pat! When I’m being poetic, I try to stick with Bartholomew but I’m not particular about it.

Fair enough. Bartholomew is a lot of letters to typo. 😉

It sure is but I’ll fix up your comment, if you were to typo here.

Ah. I love this! This was nice to read especially since my favorite Japanese sushi & steakhouse told me they were not accepting any To-Go orders tonight. My single woman money isn’t good enough for them on this national day of love.
I hope this evening will be kind to you, Bart.

Thank you, Tre! Happy Valentine’s Day to you and Jernee! That’s disappointing that you couldn’t get your favorite dinner. I ended up grabbing something from the hot bar at my local organic grocery.

I told Mike that I expected him to give me a teddy bear as big as meself, a HUGE card with a padded heart on the front and multiple boxes of chocolate – and that if he didn’t – he can’t possibly love me.
Instead, he went and stood in the queue, on a cold February evening, to get me a chippie tea from the chip van in Finstown carpark. That’s more like my idea of love!

Standing in a queue for you on a dark Orkney February evening is true love.

You’re welcome and a wonderful weekend to you. 🥰 For some reason, it took three times for my comment to go through. Persnickety platform!
