A week from tonight, I’ll be teaching an introduction to poetry class called Write It! Poetry at the Wake County North Regional Library. I’m still working on my outline but rest assured, Robert Frost’s Nothing Gold Can Stay will be featured as a positive example of various poetic devices.
I’ll also leave plenty of time to put what we learn into practice so everyone, including myself, will leave with a brand new poem. It’s free so join me at 7pm!
