Self Portrait at Panoply

I am very proud to announce that my Self Portrait has been published at Panoply, A Literary Zine. I’ve been submitting to Panoply for years so this is especially gratifying. Big thanks to Andrea, Clara, Jeff, and Ryn there.

And further gratitude to my muse who suggested I write a poem imaging myself as a house. It’s a great prompt.

  3. Bravo!! Well earned.

I loved the four layered descent and each level was full of such beautiful images but the last one in the field just felt like the perfect place!!

    Just lovely.

    Congrats again, M

    • Glad you liked it. This poem is also going to be part of an art exhibit in my little town where a visual artist is going to create a new work based on that poem and I’m writing a new poem based on one of her pieces. I’ll be posting about it January.
