‘Ello!

ElloYesterday I was invited to join the ad-free social network Ello. So far I really like what I see and that’s not just because we have similar tastes in gray. The design is sleek and content rich and did I mention that there are no advertisements? It’s refreshing not to be the commodity for sale.

Since it’s still in beta, they’re limiting access but I’ve been given some invitations so if you’d like to join, drop me an email and I’ll hook you up. Besides, I need more friends there.

Bartholomew Barker is one of the organizers of Living Poetry, a collection of poets and poetry lovers in the Triangle region of North Carolina. Born and raised in Ohio, studied in Chicago, he worked in Connecticut for nearly twenty years before moving to Hillsborough where he makes money as a computer programmer to fund his poetry habit.

    I’m there too – I got my invite just a few days ago. I haven’t really figured it out much as of yet, though. But hey, friend me? I managed to get “Euphrates” through before someone else snagged it for a change. :):
