Poetry Scope and Claudio’s Speakeasy

This Thursday the 8th of May, I’ll be reading my poem “The Future of the Appalachians” at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science’s Poetry Scope event. Those who were paying attention during April’s Poem-A-Day Challenge will remember that as the poem I wrote four weeks earlier during the Science Cafe event on the Southern Appalachian Mountains. However, do not consider this Thursday a re-run! I’ll be revising the poem tonight to make it even better.

WCOMNext Tuesday the 13th of May, I’ll be appearing on Claudio’s SpeakEasy and Radio Theatre ~ The Literary and All Else ~ on WCOM, 103.5 FM at 10am. In addition to be broadcast on the Marconi, the show is streamed live over the internet at WCOMfm.org.

I appeared on Claudio‘s show a couple of years ago and had a great time. I’m eager to get back on the air with him.
